What is lip and eye perk?
HydraFacial Perk is a perfect complement to all HydraFacialMD treatments. With HydraFacial Perk, you can target the eye and lip areas and merge an in-office exfoliation service with 30-day take-home products so you can extend your treatment results.
Perk Eye Treatment
Give your eyes some love! The skin is extremely delicate and prone to thinning, fine lines, and wrinkles on the eyes. Eyes can show signs of stress, lack of sleep, and poor diet. This treatment brightens and refreshes your outer-eye area with key ingredients like horse chestnut seed extract and arnica flower extract.
Perk Lip Treatment
One of the first signs of aging is your lips. Your lips are some of the thinnest skin on your body, making them especially prone to damage and dehydration. The HydraFacial Lip Treatment revitalizes your lips with key ingredients like peppermint oil and peony extract – leaving your lips refreshed, hydrated, and plumped.
Contraindications
If you have any of the following you are not a candidate for the service and need cancelled/rescheduled
- 1st Trimester pregnancy, on Accutane or use within 6 months,
- Cosmetic procedures within last 2 weeks: Botox, Fillers, Chemical Peel or Laser
- Uncontrolled diabetes, active cold sores
- MRSA
- For Deluxe/Platinum HydraFacial – Seizure Disorders induced by light
Precautions
If you have any of the following you may still get the service but must be advised you may be more sensitive and have more chance of a reaction
- Have an autoimmune disorder, on blood thinners, eczema, psoriasis, moles, warts, skin growths, recent waxing, sunburned, keloids, severs acne
- Allergies to shellfish/gluten/aspirin, thyroid conditions, on steroid medication
- HIV/AIDS
Prior to Appointment
- Stop use of topical prescriptions such as Retin-a 3 days prior to reduce sensitivity
Post Appointment
- Resume use of topical prescriptions normally
- Use precaution with sun exposure and minimum of SPF 30 Daily
