Contraindications
If you have any one of these things you are not a candidate for the service and need cancelled/rescheduled.
- Uncontrolled Diabetes, Use of RX Accutane (must be off for 6 months), active cold sores, sunburned, rash or irritated skin, 1st Trimester pregnancy, MRSA
Precautions
If you have any of the following you may still get the service but must be advised you may be more sensitive and have more chance of a reaction
- Moles, Wars, Active Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis
- Current use of blood thinners
- Topical Retin-A, Retinols, Glycolics, topical acne products
- HIV/AIDS
Prior to Appointment
- Stop use of topical products above for 3-5 days
Post Appointment
- Client may experience redness, flakiness, sun sensitivity, product sensitivity
- Apply extra moisturizer as needed and SPF 30 is recommended daily
