If you have any of the following you are not a candidate for the service and need cancelled/rescheduled
- The first trimester of pregnancy
- Current or recent use of Accutane within the last six months
- Recent cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, chemical peels, or laser treatments within the last two weeks
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Active cold sores
- Active MRSA/HIV/AIDS
- For Deluxe/Platinum Hydrafacial: seizure disorders induced by light
Precautions
If you have any of the following you may still get the service but must be advised you may be more sensitive and have more chance of a reaction
- Autoimmune disorders
- Active use of blood thinners
- Skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, moles, warts, recent waxing, sunburn, keloids, or severe acne
- Allergies to shellfish, gluten, or aspirin; thyroid conditions
- Active use of steroid medication, HIV/AIDS
Prior to Appointment
- Stop using topical prescriptions such as Retin-A 3 days before treatment to reduce sensitivity.
Post Appointment
- Resume use of topical prescriptions and retinol 3-5 days after treatment.
- Use caution with sun exposure and apply a minimum of SPF 30 daily to protect your newly refreshed skin.
